Independent study confirms reliability of assessments

Cronbach’s Alpha Shows Accuracy of Behaviors, Motivators Measurements

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., – An independent study recently released by Delwyn L. Harnisch, Ph.D., has affirmed the reliability and efficacy of TTI Success Insights’ (TTI) Style Insights® and Motivation Insights® assessments. Unlike many of its competitors, TTI and Target Training International, Ltd., TTI’s research and development company, routinely solicit third parties to determine the reliability of its assessments, with the most recent findings concluding the tools are “consistent and reliable.” To ensure the highest accuracy for the study, Harnisch studied assessments in not only English, but also in other native languages in which TTI’s assessments are offered. Researchers confirmed the reliability of TTI’s Style Insights assessment in 19 languages and the Motivation Insights assessment in 10 languages. “The end users of our assessments deserve the best possible Webinars_Validproduct on the market, because what we do has the ability to change lives and careers,” said Bill J. Bonnstetter, chairman and founder of TTI and Target Training International, Ltd. “Given the rise of assessment use in pre-hiring, employee development and retention purposes, TTI finds it prudent to regularly evaluate its suite of assessments as management and HR leaders make key decisions on behalf of organizations.” To determine viability, an analysis of consistencies for the assessments was calculated using Cronbach’s alpha, considered one of the most appropriate statistical tests of scale reliability given the number of scale constructs. A Cronbach’s alpha score of .70 or higher is considered to be soundly reliable. Style Insights scales were labeled as Dominance, Influencing, Steadiness and Compliance and averaged .87 reliability in U.S. English, while the Motivation Insights scales included Theoretical, Utilitarian, Aesthetic, Social, Individual and Traditional and averaged .85 reliability in U.S. English.
