Privacy Statement

Effective Date: 10/25/2023

Scope and Overview

TTI Success Insights, Ltd. (“TTI” or “the Company”) is a United States (“U.S.”) corporation committed to helping spark transformative changes in people’s everyday lives. Using a multi-science approach, we heighten awareness, improve alignment, and increase collaboration for individuals, teams, organizations and communities.

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which TTI collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from you through the use of TTI assessments located at https://www.ttisurvey.com (the “Website”). This privacy policy describes the potential impact to the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy is important and affects your legal rights, so please read it carefully.

Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used on the Website.

When providing your information, you have an opportunity to review this Privacy Policy and to thereby consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to TTI’s use of the information it collects as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Website. Unless TTI is complying with a legal obligation, you have the right to revoke prior consent by visiting https://gdpr.ttisurvey.com, at which time access to your PII by TTI would cease and be deleted.

By accessing or using the Website and TTI’s assessment services (collectively, the “Assessment Services”), you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and all of the terms incorporated herein by reference. By using the Assessment Services and/or submitting or collecting any personal data via the Assessment Services, you accept and expressly consent and agree to our practices surrounding the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. IF YOU DO NOT CONSENT AND AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, YOU CANNOT, AND WE DO NOT AUTHORIZE YOU TO, ACCESS, BROWSE, OR USE THE ASSESSMENT SERVICES.

Our processing of personal information, such as your name, or e-mail address, will be undertaken consistent with the requirements of applicable privacy laws, including, but not limited to, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), and the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”), and the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”).

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We are ISO 270001 certified and have other information security certifications available here.

Personal Information We Collect About You

In order to provide the Assessment Services, we may receive the following categories of personal information from you: Name, e-mail address, pronoun choice (for report references only), position/job title, and organization and IP address. TTI collects only the PII it needs to complete the TTI assessment.

In some cases, TTI may ask for demographic information for research and adverse impact purposes, this information is not required and you can decline to provide this information if you choose. The data controller may ask additional questions for their internal purposes.

TTI stores the data for this region on a secure server located withing the region (e.g. EU data in the EU, Canada data in Canada, etc.). However, TTI’s online platforms have functionality that allows for remote access that may qualify as PII from outside a given region in very limited circumstances, such as providing technical support. This remote access may constitute the transfer of PII.

How We Collect Your Personal Information

TTI and its distributors are the data processors. The agent or other representative who requested you complete a TTI assessment is the data controller. That entity maintains control of their data and we will only handle that information pursuant to their instructions.

We collect personal and de-identified information about you in a variety of different ways depending on the platform, including:

  • When you access and use this site.
  • When you voluntarily provide information.
  • If you use a location-enabled browser, we may receive information about your location and device.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We may use your PII, i.e., your first name, email address, assessment responses, and pronoun where applicable, to produce a personalized profile report about you, which is shared only with you and the person or organization that asked you to complete the assessment. We will not collect any information about you except that which is required to produce your profile report as described above. Your pronoun choice is only used to select the appropriate pronouns for the report. The IP address is used to help determine the default language for the assessment and in creating TTI’s research studies and country norms. Finally, we never use the PII provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above. Our survey system, called Internet Delivery System (IDS), does not use cookies to collect user information.

Disclosure of Your Personal Information

We do not disclose information about you, including your personal information, to any third parties when accessing the Website or using the Assessment Services.

Data Retention

Except as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulation, we will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, as required to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, or as necessary to resolve disputes. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider our statutory obligations, the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes we process your personal data for, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means. Under some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal data so it can no longer be associated with you. We reserve the right to use such anonymous and de-identified data for any legitimate business purpose without further notice to you or your consent.

  • The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
  • Our business or commercial purpose for collecting that personal information.
  • The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).

  • We need to use your information to perform our responsibilities under our agreement with you.
  • We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal information. For example, we may process your personal information to communicate with you about the Assessment Services and to provide and improve the Assessment Services.
  • We have your consent to do so.

If your personal data is subject to GDPR or UK GDPR, to the extent that we transfer data from your jurisdiction, we will transfer personal data from the EEA to a location outside the EEA only when there has been a documented adequacy determination, or where we have confirmed adequate privacy protections under the law, such as the implementation of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). If your personal data is subject to PIPEDA, we will transfer personal data from Canada to locations outside Canada only where we have confirmed adequate privacy protections. If we transfer personal data to a third party acting as our agent, we will also obligate the third party to have adequate privacy protections in place.

TTI relies on the direct collection of personal data from individuals located outside of the U.S., or we use other bases, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for cross-border personal data transfers from another entity to us.
