What is a DISC Assessment?

A DISC assessment is a behavioral evaluation that measures how a person naturally approaches tasks, interacts with others, and responds to situations. While many people think a DISC assessment is a personality test, TTI’s DISC is not pass or fail. The tool measures natural and adapted behaviors, not personality.

Built on the research of psychologist William Moulton Marston, the model categorizes observable behaviors into four core dimensions: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance (D, I, S, C).

TTI’s DISC assessment provides a clear, easy-to-understand framework for improving communication, building self-awareness, and enhancing workplace performance.

DISC explores observable behavior and reveals how a person will perform, including how they prefer to communicate, what they will bring to a team, their ideal environment, and possible limitations they may face.

DISC helps:

  • Minimize conflict
  • Increase productivity and engagement
  • Enhance communication
  • Maximize strengths

TTI’s DISC assessment is by far the most comprehensive report on the market. It covers the low DISC styles, combinations and adaptations, where most other assessments only look at the high styles. It’s highly researched and validated and every page is actionable. It has made an impactful difference for our clients–the deep insights and awareness that people take away from our reports create sustainable change in organizations.
